AUT Hand Lever Butterfly Valve

The first product I want to introduce to you is the line of products that use hand levers for operation. When it comes to hand lever butterfly valves, you are probably familiar with them. This type of butterfly valve has a lever that users can easily replace to operate it.

The highlight of hand lever butterfly valves is that they are easy to use and have much lower investment costs compared to other types of butterfly valves.

They can be applied in various working conditions, from systems with roofs to outdoor systems exposed to direct sunlight and rain.

AUT Gear Operated Butterfly Valve

If you prefer not to use a hand lever that requires a lot of force to operate, you can switch to using products that use gear operators.

The advantage of gear operators is that they provide a smooth opening and closing experience, even when using products with sizes up to DN500 or DN600.

With the mentioned advantages, the price of gear operated butterfly valves is generally higher than those using hand levers.

Electric and Pneumatic Control Butterfly Valve

The electric and pneumatic control butterfly valve is a different variant of the conventional AUT butterfly valve. Instead of using a lever or handwheel, as mentioned above, you can now use additional electric and pneumatic control units from a third-party brand. The purpose of this modification is to enable you to operate more products and save operational time compared to mechanical-based products.

Compared to pneumatic control, electric butterfly valves offer smoother operation without generating noise. With a voltage of 220v available everywhere, it allows for easier installation and implementation of the product.

On the other hand, with pneumatic butterfly valves, although they are cost-effective, you need an air compressor to operate the product.

Signal Electric AUT Butterfly Valve

Unlike products using conventional electric control units, the signal electric AUT butterfly valve is designed with a three-wire configuration to provide feedback to the control center about the device’s open and closed status.

These signal electric products are mainly used for fire protection and firefighting systems. The distinguishing feature is the red color coating from inside to outside, aiming to synchronize the system’s operation more effectively.

Testing and Maintenance of AUT Butterfly Valves

After a prolonged period of using the product, sediment will inevitably accumulate on the valve body and butterfly disc, significantly affecting the valve’s operation.

At this point, the most important task is to inspect and maintain the product by cleaning its components, bringing the butterfly valve back to its optimal working condition.

There are two ways to clean the product, but before performing any cleaning, make sure to disassemble the parts to simplify and facilitate the process, avoiding any interference with other components.

Use a grinding machine to clean the specific parts, especially the valve disc and body. Then proceed to reassemble the components together. After assembly, it is necessary to check the tightness of the device by putting it in the closed position and pouring water to test for leakage. If no water leakage is observed, the valve is considered good.
